Guided walk with Nigel Brown to Point Lynas

The geology of the headland is mainly the Cambrian New Harbour Group with a depositional age of 520 million years. Immediately to the south of the headland the Cambrian rocks are thrust against younger Ordovician rocks.

Meet at the car park (free) 400m SW of Porth Eilian, SH475.928, near Point Lynas Caravan Park.
