We welcome donations, which will help us to support the Garden.

The Friends pay for small items such as seeds, tools and books, but we also contribute to bigger projects.

Leaving a gift to us in your will

Would you like to create a lasting legacy to enable future generations to enjoy, learn from and be nurtured by the Garden, just as you do now? If you leave the Friends of Treborth a gift in your will, we will use it to benefit the Garden.

We think carefully about all bequests that are made to the Friends. We will discuss with your loved ones how best to use your bequest.

Leaving money in your will to a charity such as ourselves can reduce your liability for inheritance tax. We recommend that you consult a solicitor for advice.

Here are some examples of what the Friends have funded:

  • Interpretation panels

  • Bulbs and seeds for displays

  • Speakers for our events

  • Guided walk leaders

  • Path work in the woodland

  • Artworks for the glasshouses

  • Bulbs and seeds for displays and plant sales

  • Volunteer training

  • Lily bowl for Chinese Garden
